Puerto Rico is mountainous and has no long rivers or large lakes, as the country is so small. Instead, there are a number of cities, ports and coral reefs. The capital city of San Juan is on UNESCO ‘s World Heritage List with its old town. Here lies the old fort as well as a city wall. Visit one of the many vantage points and stroll in the parks or fill your days with golf, tennis, fine dining and casinos.

La Paraguera on Puerto Rico wakes up in the weekends

La Paraguera is a sleepy town that comes alive on the weekends when people from San Juan go out to party. Come and listen to salsa music playing all night long, or visit La Paraguera for what it is really famous for – its plankton. Billions of plankton resides in the water, and glitters and glows when touched by the water waves. Ponce, the country’s second largest city, used to be the smugglers’ nest once upon a time. Now, the city is instead known for its great museums, its old Cathedral and its beautiful square that is actually said to be the prettiest square in the Caribbean.
