Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal in Agra in India is called the most romantic place in the world. No wonder with its origin and history. Mogul ruler Shah Jahan gave the Taj Mahal as a gift to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal as a proof on his love. The conduct took 11 years – from 1632 to around 1643.

The beautiful palace is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and was named one of the Seven Wonders of the World in 2007. When the beloved wife of the Mogul ruler died while giving birth to his son, he grieved so much that he decided to build a palace in her memory.
