Japan’s cultural center Kyoto is the perfect starting point for a trip to Japan – the city offers a combination of old traditions and advanced modernity. See the beautiful powder pink Japanese cherry tree flower next to the decorated temples and palace. Or try the local specialty Yudofu.

Kyoto is one of the best preserved cities in Japan. They managed to obscure from the war and from being destroyed. The city is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Japan. Here are over 2000 temples and skyscrapers are forbidden, so that the historical atmosphere is maintained. The city is surrounded by three high mountains so the seasons are distinct – hot summers and cold winters.
