Colombia is a fantastic country with a lot to discover. Everything from culture with Colombia’s multifaceted history, from colonial times to modern art and music. The people we met were warm, open and proud of their country, and were happy to share stories and tips, to tropical beach paradises and coffee plantations where we walked among coffee bushes in the undulating, green mountains. We learned how the coffee bean goes from plant to cup – and of course got to taste freshly roasted coffee. For coffee lovers (and even those who are just curious), this is an absolute must-have.

Caribbean Dreams in Cartagena

Cartagena – what a place! This old colonial city on the Caribbean Sea offered colorful houses, flowery balconies, narrow cobbled streets, and a magical atmosphere. We walked through the historic quarter at sunset and ate fresh ceviche at small local restaurants. The beaches here are truly something out of the ordinary – white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and a feeling of total relaxation.
